Teresa E. Brown
M.S., CSCS, NSCA - CPT, PN -- 1
Teresa is a native of Cleveland, OH, currently residing in Lexington, KY. She has a passion for helping people. Having suffered the loss of two daughters, she realizes how fragile life is. The only thing that helped her through her depression was her introduction to the world of exercise. As she fell more in love with fitness and saw the change in her own body, she decided to make a career shift from the business world into health and wellness.
With over 20 years in the health industry, Teresa has developed wellness programs for major corporations, including the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Alcoa, Inc. As an adjunct professor at Eastern Kentucky University, she taught many wellness courses to undergraduate students. She soon realized she loves to encourage, inspire, motivate, and educate others along their own wellness journeys.
As a Professional Wellness Coach with a Master's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science, Teresa stays on the cutting edge of the industry by maintaining continuing education for her current certifications: National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach (PN1), and American Heart Association (CPR & AED). In her free time, Teresa enjoys reading, music, travel, and researching ways to better serve her clients.
